The Perciavalle Family Scholarship was established by Frank Perciavalle, a proud Psi Chapter alumnus from Duquesne University and one of Alpha Phi Delta’s earliest scholarship recipients in 1979. As the first in his family of Italian immigrants to attend college, Frank understands the transformative power of education. Through this scholarship, he hopes to ease the financial burden for deserving students and inspire them to achieve their dreams.

Frank was initiated into Alpha Phi Delta in 1978 and served as the Psi Chapter Vice-President as an undergraduate. A dedicated brother, he has been a long-time member of the Pittsburgh Alumni Club and played a key role in founding the Hilton Head Alumni Club. Frank earned a double major in Math and Economics, later completing his MBA at Case Western Reserve University. In 2024, he was honored with the Pittsburgh Alumni Club’s Adam DiVincenzo Community Service Award.

Frank continues to give back to the fraternity as a Director of the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation, chairing the Cultural Heritage Committee and serving on the Foundation’s investment committee. Professionally, Frank built a distinguished career in Supply Chain and Logistics Management, retiring in 2019 as Director of Logistics for BASF Corporation.

Together, Frank and his wife, Pam, are deeply committed to philanthropic efforts in education. Their initiatives include funding scholarships for local and international students, supporting schools and teachers, and endowing multiple scholarships. Frank also volunteers as a math tutor for 4th graders at a local Catholic school each morning.

Frank and Pam reside in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and spend part of the year at their second home in Italy. Frank is an avid Italian soccer fan, enjoys playing chess, and attending live opera.

This scholarship is a reflection of Frank’s enduring commitment to education, philanthropy, and the Alpha Phi Delta brotherhood.
