This scholarship was established by Larry Kaufman of Beta Xi, his wife Laura and their two sons: Harrison and Justin.  Larry attended the New Jersey Institute of Technology earning a degree in Industrial Engineering.  He was inducted into Beta Xi in 1988.  Larry is currently the President of the North Jersey Alumni Club (NJAC) and a Director for the Alpha Phi Delta Foundation.  His son Harrison was a founding member of the Epsilon Lamda chapter at the University of New Haven in Connecticut.
